Pregnancy Testing
Life Choices provides confidential pregnancy testing at no cost to you.
Common signs of early pregnancy may include
- missed period
- nausea
- vomiting
- breast tenderness
- frequent urination and
- fatigue
Even though these are the common signs of early pregnancy, other medical conditions can cause these symptoms as well. If you have been sexually active and are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is important to make an appointment for a pregnancy test and talk with someone about your questions and concerns.
STD Testing
Life Choices offers testing for certain STD’s at a low cost. If you are sexually active or think you have been exposed to an STD, it is important to get tested.
Some common symptoms of STIs include:
- unusual odor
- discharge from the vagina or penis
- burning during urination
- sores on the genitals
However, many STDs do not cause any symptoms and it is possible to spread these diseases and infections without ever having symptoms. Treatment for some STD’s will be offered.
Ultrasound
Our medical staff can perform a limited obstetric ultrasound to determine the viability of your pregnancy and how far along you are. As Life Choices is a medical clinic, it abides by all medical confidentiality practices and any information has to be released with your consent, even if you are a minor. In addition, this service is at no cost to you.
Abortion Pill Reversal
Have you taken the first dose of the abortion pill (Mifeprex or RU-486)? Do you regret your decision and wish you could reverse the effects of the abortion pill?

Options Education
Our staff understands that you may have a lot of questions and concerns if you were not planning on becoming pregnant. Although we do not perform or refer for an abortion, Life Choices can provide you with factual information and resources, so you make the informed decision that is best for you. We want to provide a safe place for you to make the healthiest decision possible.
Fatherhood Program
Life Choices offers support to men involved in unplanned pregnancy situations at no cost. We are a safe place to think and talk through what the future holds for you and your partner. Only you can choose what kind of father and partner you will be, but you don’t have to face these things alone. We care about you and we want to support you.
Assistance and Referrals
Care that goes beyond the scope of services offered at Life Choices is important; therefore, the staff and volunteers strive to provide appropriate medical and social service assistance and referrals for women and men as needed. In certain circumstances (and with written permission), Life Choices will work with partnering agencies to provide care.
Life Choices also provides material assistance through the Hope Shoppe. The Hope Shoppe is a boutique filled with baby clothing, gear and other items for children two and under. You and your partner have the opportunity to earn Mommy Money and Daddy Dollars and “purchase” needed items within the Hope Shoppe.
On-Going Support
Life Choices offers support during and after pregnancy.
Growing Great Kids is a curriculum that focuses on child development and health, parenting concerns and supports the development of parent-child relationships from prenatal to 3 years of age. Growing Great Kids takes place in the parent’s home and begins during pregnancy or during the child’s first three months of life.
There are times where support is needed outside the walls of Life Choices for unexpectant parents. When the need arises, Life Choices’ staff will work with community volunteers and clients to “match” new families with a local mentoring family.
Parental Training
Life Choices hosts a variety of classes for expectant and new parents. Classes cover a wide range of topics that are offered at different times throughout the year. Reach out to Life Choices for more information.
Post Abortion Support
Life Choices provides confidential services for individuals who have had a past abortion. Post abortion support is offered to current or past clients as well as community members not associated with Life Choices. If an abortion has affected you, contact a staff member at Life Choices for support.
